The Rubberband Problem!
Every time, I open the refrigerator or a kitchen cupboard or kids snack cupboard, the sight of chips packet with a rubberband to its neck or a haldirams snack with a rubberband to hold it together or a maida packet with a rubberband wrapped around greets me!!! And more often that not, they are soggy or have lost the freshness.
1. Rubberband is messy. It loses its elasticity after some time and starts letting air in, which means a soggy chips or a spilled maida when you remove from cupboards.
2. It becomes irritating when you are working in kitchen and you need to remove the rubberband!
3. Another irritating aspect is, where do you store them. They always get lost!
Here is a 50 PAISE solution to keep everything crisp, fresh, and smelling good. Its called "BINDER CLIPS". You get them everywhere and for all that you know, you already have them. They are the best to keep things fresh!
Just fold the snack cover, clip them and you are done. Use 2 or 3 for large covers. These life savers, are cheap, re-usable, lasts long, and more importantly EASY to user and store and keep things really FRESH!

DIY idea is a hit, but I have a concern and wanting to promote "Make in your kitchen" campaign. Buddy, all these frozen food and preservatives... take care.
ReplyDeleteSiva: Absolutely, we bought multiple types to check the taste and hows its done. Now, we have mastered it and make it at home. In fact, we have bought a Philips Air Fryer to cut down oil in cheese balls, French fries etc. That reminds me, should a post a review of this wonderful product soon.
